Clarification On MMM SCAM Alert ⚠

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Promoters of MMM Nigeria, known as Guiders have urged Nigerians to remain calm as the one month freezing of all accounts of the scheme is a measure adopted to ensure sustainability and stability of the scheme. 
The system which entails the Providing Help (PH) and the Getting Help (GH) also assured that there is nothing to worry about since the ‘FROZEN ACCOUNT’ period is even the best time to provide help.

They also said that the accounts will continue to grow with a 50% more benefit on the amount staked or provided (PH). 
The guiders took to the MMM Nigeria website to douse tension and provide explanations on the one month account freezing.

“Good morning Mavrodians. 
What we are seeing now is the only practical measure to protect MMM Nigeria from danger. 
“A lot of news of MMM crash this December has been on the social media and other news and gossip. This has really affected the system. There were heavy conspiracies by financial institutions to collapse the system. What happened to the system last week would have been worse if GH is allowed today. Despite the holiday bonus, many participants were ready to GH today. The PH is not commensurate to the GH and this is the fear created by sponsored fake news. 
“The truth remains that the mavros in the system are safe until they are unfrozen. Those who have PH in the system shouldn’t cancel them because since all green mavro are frozen no PH will be paired. 
“For those who understand the system, what has happened is a temporary measure to save the system and saving the system is saving our money. If we are allowed to GH, by next week there may be no enough PH to pair the GH then the worst will happen. 
“This is a kind of caution taken to avert danger. So our mavros are safe. 
I encourage those who want to PH to still do their PH. The maturity is January and doesn’t change anything by then the system is back and stronger. 
“Don’t lose hope, all of us have mavros in the system and let’s not use because of this little set back forget what MMM has done for us and will do more if the system is safeguarded. 
“I personally feel the same way as you but it’s better to save the system than lose everything. 
“Some people are complaining why the Guiders were not informed and my response is, if the Guiders were informed the system will crash in less than 10mins of the information.” 
“The way you received the news is the way we Guiders received the news but we have the training that such thing may happen if there is evidence of danger ahead. This show how firm and protective MMM is structured.” 
“Let’s be optimistic and positive. This is our community, let’s protect it.” 
This message was sent out by MMM Nigeria Guiders who identified themselves as Guider DonVal Amaechi and Guider Philip Awazi. 
Recall that members of the scheme woke up Tuesday morning with a shock message displaying on their screens indicating that all access to requesting of fund, (Getting help) had been frozen till January 14. This caused panic and confusion among the over three million member participants of the scheme.

Pokémon Go to Officially Launch in India, Jio Stores to Function as Pokéstops

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Pokémon fans have surely something to cherish about now, as the popular mobile game called Pokémon Go by Niantic is making an official entry into the country tomorrow. While, Pokémon Go was unofficially available for download for Indian users ever since it leaked on the web back in July, its services were disrupted soon after. Now, the official entry into the country would mean addition of a whole lot of new features which weren’t available before. 
 Previously the most annoying issue with Pokémon Go was the availability of gyms and Pokéstops. Initially users in India could access such locations via the map that’s displayed on the Pokémon Go app. However, these were soon removed from the map and the game became unplayable in India. That said, with the official release; Niantic Inc. who are apparently the maker of this app has tied up with <a href="http://techpp.com/2016/12/01/jio-happy-new-year-offer/" rel="nofollow" style="background: rgb(255, 255, 255); border: none; color: #d82400; font-family: "Droid Sans", Georgia, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; margin: 0px; outline: none; padding: 0px; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;" target="_blank">Reliance Jio </a>for these Pokéstops. This means that Reliance Digital and Digital Xpress Mini stores around you would appear as ‘Pokéstops’ and ‘gyms’ in the game. Niantic had previously partnered with McDonald group in Japan for sponsored Pokéstops.

Just in case you are unaware about how this game works then let me tell about it in brief. Basically the game is based on augmented reality or AR in short wherein you are required to visit various places around you to collect Pokémon’s, fight battles, hatch eggs and even train them. The places in question are apparently physical destinations near your neighborhood and are referred to as Pokéstops and gyms depending on the function of that place. This tie-up between Niantic and Reliance Jio would help increase footfall in Reliance Digital stores which otherwise used to remain quite empty; especially before Jio was launched. The increased footfall indirectly means better business for Reliance and will also allow users to experience Jio’s high speed 4G LTE network. 
 Pokémon GO is said to receive a major update in December that would bring in a total of 100 new Pokémon’s to the game. Besides, the update is expected to come with the long awaited Pokémon trading feature. This means that you would be able to trade off the Pokémon you raised to another buddy for some of money; albeit it isn’t real money! It is also reported that with the new update players will be able to raise Pokémon’s as soon as they are hatched from eggs. To help aid, the process of trading of Pokémon’s, Jio is said to increase a special channel in their Jio Chat application where players can interact with each other regarding the tips, tricks, trade secrets and location of Pokémon’s. 
 Pokémon Go is coming to India at a time when the game has almost lost its initial spike. Soon after, its release in July this year the game sprung up to the number 1 spot in the PlayStore and Appstore with over 500 million global downloads. The reception of the game in India were exceptional a few months back, hence it would be interesting to see how users respond once Pokémon Go goes official tomorrow.

 In related news, Pokémon Go recieved an update two days back which apparently adds a number of new Pokémon into the game. These include Piku, Togepi and other Pokémons pulled from the second generation Pokémon Gold and Silver. That said, Niantic hasn’t revealed the list of Pokémons that has been added to game, thus it isn’t yet clear whether this update is actually the mega December update which was rumoured initially. Pokémon Go is using Sprint stores in US as Pokéstops similar to the upcoming Reliance Jio implementation.</div>

For those who don't know Bully, it's sort of like GTA except you control a 15-year-old delinquent having to deal with school life (and yes Bullies).

The open-source nature of Android makes this very possible and is also one of the reasons that Android, without a doubt, hands down, with all it quirks, is the best OS running on mobile devices today.

  There are different versions of stock ROMs from different manufacturers, either running pure stock android, or a modded version of Samsung's TouchWiz. 
 It happens a lot; phone manufacturers stop releasing updates for devices, and we, the people, are left wanting, well, at least until this guide showed up 👌. 
<h3>Why Flash Your Phone?</h3>
Flashing your phone's ROM can help with the following: 
<ul>
<li>No New Updates From Manufacturers: New phones come out anyhow all over the place, so the newer models of a series of phones are favored to get new Android version updates, and the older models are left in the dark, usually because of outdated hardware. A lot of phones older phones are capable of running newer versions of Android, and flashing your ROM can help you get all those sweet new features. A very good example of these phones is the Samsung Galaxy S3.</li>
<li>Bloatware: You can easily delete or get rid of bloatware (useless apps that come pre-installed on your phone).</li>
<li>Extra Customization: I mentioned android being open source, add a very before that, you get a very open source. I mean with customROMs you can change and customize the UI and how your phone operates.</li>
<li> You get more frequent OTA (Over The Air) updates to fix bugs and issues.</li>
<li>Better Performance and Efficiency: Custom ROMs are often faster, more efficient, and use less memory because the developer might have already ripped out the useless garbage, such as carrier installed apps or optimized the kernel. For example, an undervolted kernel can provide a much better battery life than the stock one. (Undervolting is a trick used to reduce heat evolved and increase the efficiency of electronic devices, especially PCs.).</li>
</ul>
<h4>Important Notice </h4>
Flashing your ROM is cool and all, with all the extra perks it seems to good to be true, but of course there are potential drawbacks. 
<ol>
<li> First of all, something may go wrong with the flashing process and leave your phone bricked. The chances of this are pretty low nowadays, and most of the time you can restore it back to normal. Try to pick a ROM that has a lot of positive feedback.</li>
<li> In order to install a custom ROM, you need to perform a clean wipe. This means you will lose all existing data, so you have to back up everything first.</li>
<li> You may void your phone's warranty, and rendering it useless when you might want to invoke it with your manufacturer. The benefits of flashing outweigh the warranty so, just be careful.</li>
<li>Finally installing a ROM not compatible with your device may result in your phone bricking during the flashing process, or it m ay install and run horribly or not run at all. Always make sure you get the right ROM for your phone model.</li>
</ol>
We want to mention before we get into it that if anything goes wrong during or after the flashing process, we are not liable. Of course, we know there are always risks and we're willing to help, as long as you don't do anything crazy, you're good. Nevertheless, flash at your own risk. 
<h3>What You'll Need.</h3>
<ul>
<li>Root: This guide teaches how to flash with TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) Recovery Mode, and TWRP requires root access to flash. While stock bootloader doesn't, we advise you root your phone anyway. I recommend <a href="http://www.shelaf.com/2016/02/download-new-kingroot-v48-to-root.html" target="_blank">KingRoot App</a>, it is easy, quick and efficient. Rooting comes with its own risks, so do so responsibly.</li>
<li> An Unlocked Bootloader with Custom Recovery Installed: Unlocking your bootloader varies across devices, so <a href="http://www.shelaf.com/2013/09/guide-on-how-to-install-flash.html" target="_blank">this guide</a> for installing TWRP should help a lot. </li>
<li>The Actual ROM: I mentioned that there are a lot of custom ROMs out there, so finding the right one for your device might take a while, but you can do that by googling " 'YourPhoneModel' custom ROM". The most trusted ROMs are from <a href="https://www.cyanogenmod.org/" target="_blank">CyanogenMod</a>, so go through there or you could snoop around <a href="https://www.xda-developers.com/" target="_blank">XDA-Developers</a>.</li>
<li>A microSD Card to hold the ROM file temporarily. Preferably empty and 8GB or more for backups.</li>
</ul>
 Do not proceed unless you have the above. 
<h3>Actual Flashing Process</h3>
Here we go! I am going to do a somewhat stripped down version of the process for the people who want this done quick.

1. Power on your phone and plug it into your PC to access the SD card. Locate where you downloaded your ROM to and paste it to the root of your SD card. include any other .zip app packages you want to install like <a href="http://opengapps.org/" target="_blank">GAPPS</a> (Google App Packages) if your ROM doesn't come with it. 
2. Power off the device and then boot up to recovery. 
3. In your phone's custom recovery bootloader, locate the menu options which allow you to wipe the phone. 
 
 Whenever changing ROMs, it is a good idea to make a backup first, then Factory Reset, before flashing the new ROM, or if the ROM you want to flash comes with an Aroma Installer, you can do the standard full wipe in Aroma as it usually comes with that option before proceeding with the installation. 
 
4. Select "Backup" and choose what you would like to backup, the files are usually large so if you encounter any errors with space you might want to delete some things off your SD card.

6. Once your phone has been wiped, go back to the root of the menu and select "Install". 
7. Locate the ROM .Zip file you wish to flash. 
8. Confirm the flash by swiping the screen. 
9. After the ROM successfully flashes, you can go back and flash GAPPS or any other .zip app package from Step 4. 
10. When it’s done, tap the “Wipe cache/Dalvik” button that appears and swipe to confirm. 
 
 Once the cache has been wiped, tap the “Reboot System” button to boot back into Android. 
 
If TWRP asks if you want to install SuperSU now, choose “Do Not Install”. Some ROMs, like CyanogenMod, will already have root access available in the settings, and for any that don’t come rooted, it’s probably best to flash SuperSU yourself. (Or use KingRoot again.) 
 
It may take a while to reboot your phone the first time remember, this is your first time booting a new operating system, so it has to get everything ready for you. Give it time. 
 
If anything goes wrong or the phone won’t boot after a significant amount of time, reboot back into TWRP and restore from your backup, or try flashing again. Make sure you downloaded the correct ROM files, as well.

I once tried contacting about 50 popular brands in the Tech niche(most were smartphone brands) but only  4  brands responded after some days . I changed my strategy and decided to go for the starters in the industry. I got an instant response the very first day. If Plan A doesn't work try plan B. 
 
Another problem you may have as a blogger is when you want to search for advertisers then you discover that you've hit another stumbling block.  "You Don't Know Where To Start Looking For Advertisers" 
 
At this stage you've reached a huge block, without help from anywhere or making research you decide to quit the idea with the mentality that advertisers are hard to find or contact.
