Today am going to give a tutorial on How To Root Tecno W4, the tecno has made this phone and those phone with android 6.0 have a lot of problems when it comes to rooting time.

STEP 1: Install VCOM driver on your PC by clicking here and download SuperSU 2.66.zip by clicking here. Then download TWRP of Tecno W4 by clicking here.
STEP 2: Copy the SuperSU 2.66.zip to your phone and SD card. Then switch of your smartphone and install the TWRP recovery.img using SP flash tool. See guide here.
STEP 3: Then while your phone is powered off, kindly hold volume down + power button to boot into recovery mode.
STEP 4: If you get any prompt, kindly allow it and in TWRP recovery mode, tap on INSTALL and locate the SuperSU 2.66.zip, you downloaded earlier and select it with power button.
STEP 5: Then swipe to confirm flashing and after flashing is complete. Kindly reboot your phone normally and confirm rooting by installing root checker app.
