DSTV users are currently receiving text messages about the forthcoming increase in subscription fee of multi-choice cable network, DSTV which is owned by South African company, Multi-choice said the increase in DSTV Subscription will take effect from May 1st, 2017.

Meanwhile, the increase in price of DSTV subscription fee is not going down well with its customers as it is already trending on Twitter. Nigerians are showing how dissatisfied they are with this latest news, some are saying DSTV which is owned by Multi-choice is taking advantage of the monopoly in the market
The message reads thus:
"Dear DStv customer, due to a price adjustment, your Premium package fee has changed from N13,980 to N14,700 effective 1 May 2017."
