Ubisoft has officially unveiled the next Far Cry with a debut trailer, including its release date and some other new trailers. The game, which is set in the fictional Hope County, Montana.
Far Cry 5 is an upcoming action-adventure first-person shooter developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the fifth main entry in the Far Cry series.
The story follows a sheriff's deputy who has arrived in Hope County only to discover that the entire region has been taken over by a doomsday cult, The Project at Eden's Gate. Your job is to help rally the locals into the Resistance, and take out the cult. Meanwhile, some locals will take the side of the militia cultists.
Similar to its predecessors, the game is an action-adventure first-person shooter set in an open world which players can explore freely. The game features a new character creator, in which players can customize their character's appearances, gender and skin tone.
This means you can play as a man or a woman and choose your race. I'm not sure how much actual customization you'll have in terms of shaping your character's appearance
Players have a variety of gadgets and weapons to fight against enemies, such as shotguns, pistols, rocket launchers, bows, explosives such as grenades, and melee weapons like pitchforks, sledgehammers and baseball bats.
