Last week was really a week we the Internet users in Nigeria wouldn't be forgetting anytime soon as we got the scare of our lives. NCC mandated all telcom operators in Nigeria to increase the price if their data plans and in respect to that MTN deactivated the midnight data plan. But thank God for the intervention of Senate, now everything is back to normal and MTN has also restored the midnight data plan.
For those who don't know how the night plan works, it's actually one of MTN's data plans whereby you are given 500mb of data which is valid from 12:00am to 4:00am the same day and it cost just N25.
=> first, you have to migrate to MTN pulse tariff plan by dialing *406#.
=> After that, make sure you have at least N25 airtime on your MTN line.
=> SMS night to 131 to subscribe.
=> N25 would be deducted from your airtime and you should receive an SMS afterwards.
=> Just turn on your data once it's 12:00am and enjoy till 4:00am.
