This is one news am pretty Netflix lovers will be excited to hear. The long awaited offline viewing feature is now available on Netflix. Now Netflix users in all regions can download movies and TV shows which they can later watch on the go even without internet connection.
Although not all movies and TV shows listed on Netflix will be available for download but a download button will always appear next to the play button for videos that are available for download. According to Netflix, the download will be available in two video quality options which are standard quality and higher quality.
While the standard quality will download a slightly lower resolution video within a short period of time, the higher quality on the other hand will download a much more higher resolution video which will take time to download and will also consume a lot of storage space.
Although the offline playback feature was first hinted some time in June this year but Netflix has finally decided to roll it out to its users. The reason is not far fetched since other competitors like Amazon video and Vudu already allow customers to download content to watch anywhere. The good thing is that this offline playback is available on all Plans. Which means it's available to everyone.
If you happen to either be an Android or iOS user then visit your respective app store and update to the latest version to enjoy your most favourite movies and TV shows on the go even without Internet connection.
