It's no more a news that Pokemon Go game has taken over other games around the globe, previously the game was launch in India and I can tell you it was one of the best that happened in the country now South Korea is joining the party.
From a tweet in Pokemon Go official tweeter page, its says
The delay to reach South Korea was due to legal reasons. Google Maps - Pokemon Go's main underlying platform is under quite government regulation in the country for national security reasons. This was a concern in Europe and the US to some degree after the game's release as well.
