The new feature allows smile users share over 200MB of data with other smile lines. 
How do you share data on Smile?
Sharing data on Smile 4G internet services is very simple: 
Login your accountScroll down to "Bundle" section Click the "Share" button located at the right end of your planEnter the receiver's account IDSelect a data volume using the drop down menu.
You can share data volume of 200MB, 500MB, 1GB, 2GB, 3GB, 7GB etc. depending on how much data you have.
Finally, having selected your desired data volume, click the "Share" button.

WhatsApp Extends Support For Blackberry Users till December 2017

This is not the first time Whatsapp has made announcement about stopping support for BlackBerry and Symbian devices. They've always been extending it though. With this report of ending support on these devices, this has made a lot of blackberry users dump their device for a better OS platform. Actually this is not the first time Whatsapp will be extending their support for BlackBerry devices. Who knows, they might still extend it till next year.

Access Bank, Others Take Over Etisalat Nigeria

The management of telecommunication company, Etisalat Nigeria has been taken over by Access Bank
Besides Access Bank, other local and foreign banks are said to be part of the takeover of the telecommunication company which takes effect from June 15.
The take-over came as a result of a futile effort by Emerging Markets Telecommunications Services, EMTS, promoted by-one time Chairman, United Bank for Africa, UBA, Hakeem Bello-Osagie, to reach agreement with the banks on debt restructuring plan in the protracted $1.72 billion (about N541.8 billion) debt impasse.
However, EMTS Holding BV, established in the Netherlands, has up to June 23 to complete the transfer of 100 percent of the company’s shares in Etisalat to the United Capital Trustees Limited, the legal representative of the consortium of banks.
Etisalat Group, the parent company of Etisalat Nigeria, announced the takeover on Tuesday in a letter filed to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirate.
A letter dated June 2017, with No. Ho/GCFO/152/85 signed by Etisalat Group Chief Financial Officer, Serkan Okandan, noted that efforts by EMTS to restructure the repayment of the syndicated loan by a consortium of banks to Etisalat Nigeria collapsed.
It added, “Further to our announcement dated 12 February, 2017, Emirates Telecommunications Group Company PJSC, ‘Etisalat Group’[ would like to inform you that Emerging Markets Telecommunications Services Limited ‘EMTS’ (‘the company), established in Nigeria and an associate of Etisalat Group with effective ownership of 45% and 25% ordinary and preference shares respectively, defaulted on a facility agreement with a syndicate of Nigerian banks (‘EMTS Lenders’). 
 
“Subsequently, discussions between EMTS and the EMTS Lenders did not produce an agreement on a debt restructuring plan.
“Accordingly, the Company received a default and security Enforcement Notice on 9 June 2017 requesting EMTS Holding BV (EMTS BV) established in the Netherlands, and through which Etisalat Group holds its interest in the company) requiring EMTS BV to transfer 100% of its shares in the company to the United Capital Trustees Limited (the Security Trustee”) of the EMTS Lenders by 15 June 2017.
“Subsequently the EMTS Lenders extened the deadline for the share transfer to 5.00 pm Lagos time on 23 June 2017,” the filing said.
The Telecommunication company has been under pressure since 2016, following the demand notice for the recovery of a $1.72 billion (about N541.8 billion) loan facility it obtained from a consortium of banks in 2015.
The loan, which involved a foreign-backed guaranty bond, was for the mobile telephone operator to finance a major network rehabilitation and expansion of its operational base in Nigeria.
Unable to meet its debt servicing obligations agreed since 2016, the consortium, prodded by their foreign partners, threatened to take over the company and its assets across the country. 
But, the intervention of the telecom sector regulator, Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, and its financial sector counterpart, the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, succeeded in persuading the banks to rethink their threat and give Etisalat a chance to renegotiate the loan’s repayment schedule.

The latest product in this category is the 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank, which offers the largest battery capacity yet.
The company approaches its accessories the same way it handles phones, which means that you can expect a well-designed power bank offering great value for money. And that's true for the brand new 20,000mAH power bank as well, which is available for just N 14,000 at Melon Technologies, Anambra State.
Design and charging:  
The 20,000mAH power bank comes in an environmentally friendly ABS plastic housing with a textured pattern aimed at improving grip. The design is a switch from the anodized aluminum casing seen on the 5,000mAH, 10,400mAH, 10,000mAH and 16,000mAh power banks.  
The plastic makes for a far better finish, as it doesn't make the surface of the power bank nearly as slippery as the aluminum design. The casing is also scratch-resistant, and can withstand heat up to 90 degrees Celsius (not that it gets that hot itself). With an overall weight of 338g, the power bank is lighter than the 350g 16,000mAH version, which is impressive.
The 20,000mAH Mi Power Bank features six high-density batteries from Panasonic and LG, and has two USB ports that allow you to charge two devices simultaneously. The dual USB ports offer a combined output of 5.1 volts at 3.6 amps, which translates to 18.36 watts. Each port is capable of outputting up to 2.1 amps, and you can also use the power bank to charge USB Type-C devices. 
There's a four-LED capacity indicator at the top of that shows the charge remaining, with each LED corresponding to a 25% charge. The power bank automatically switches on and off as soon as you connect a device, but there's a dedicated power button on the right as well. Xiaomi bundles a one-foot long flat micro-USB cable out of the box.
The power bank has a micro-USB input for recharging, but there isn't a wall charger included in the box. 
Capacity and authenticity 
20,000mAh is a lot of capacity, and to ensure that the power bank delivers all that power safely, Xiaomi uses what it calls "nine layers of circuit chip protection," which provides protection from circuits shorting out, input and output overvoltage, overcharge and overdischarge, output overcurrent, and more. 
The USB power control and charging chips are made by Texas Instruments, which are far more reliable than what's commonly used in products in this price range. As noted above, Xiaomi aims to use high-quality battery cells from reputable manufacturers as well, which not only keeps capacity figures consistent but also improves safety.
Given Xiaomi's brand cachet and the nature of the hardware on offer, the vendor is susceptible to counterfeits from dubious companies, who use low-quality batteries packaged in a similar casing. 
To combat the issue, Xiaomi issues a 20-digit security code on the packaging of the Mi Power Bank, which can be verified on

Try removing the Apps which you have not used for last 15 days. I always periodically check my smartphone to remove apps which I haven’t used for many days.
4. Fake Battery – Is your phone battery original or fake? If it is fake, it can wreak havoc on your smartphones operations, overheating and excess charge and discharge. When it is fake, it drains faster 
Always get the genuine batteries either by contacting the service center or buy it from an authorized dealer for the mobile brand.
5. Don’t Use the Smartphone when Charging – This is the cardinal rule you must follow, must not play games or use data to watch videos when your smartphone is charging; as processor will come under huge amount of stress and definitely all of the smartphone will heat up due to this

There is now a new update from WhatsApp which was released recentky and which also comes with some new cool features. Unfortunately, this update is only available for iOS users and there is no official statement as to when it will be available for android users.

With the latest WhatsApp update for iOS, you can now apply filter to photos, GIFs and even videos. The new filter feature is embedded in the camera. So all you need to do is to capture or choose a picture, GIF or video, then swipe left to select one of the 5 available filters. 
WhatsApp also introduced another new feature targeted mostly at those who receive lots of pictures on WhatsApp. Now, when a set of 4 or more pictures is received in a row, Whatsapp will automatically group them together, as long as they are from the same sender. 
There is also a new reply shortcut which makes replying to WhatsApp messages a lot more easier and faster. To access the reply shortcut, all you need to do is to swipe left on any message you want to reply to. 
If you are an iOS user then you can get this new features by heading over to the app store and updating to the latest version. As for android users, there is no statement yet as to when this new update will be made available on Google play store.
